Anytime Fitness targets 100 open clubs by 2019

New Delhi: US based health and fitness chain Anytime Fitness is planning to open 100 open clubs by the year end of 2019 putting an investment of Rs 2 crore on each open club.

“Presently Anytime Fitness India has 31 open locations and by 2019, we plan to have 100 open clubs, 50 clubs by 2018 and 25 in 2017 and 25 in 2018. We will invest Rs 2 crore for each store that means we are putting Rs 38 crore in the expansion in this year,” said Vikas Jain, managing director for Anytime Fitness India.

Anytime Fitness is considering cities including Jaipur, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Ludhiana for expansion besides they have plans to set up 4 open clubs in Delhi and few in Mumbai.

The brand will follow franchising model of expansion.
